Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) announces that the second test of Amateur Radio Wireless Service for the year 1433AH /2012 will be held on Wednesday, 9 am, 15/2/2012 at the main hall  in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Riyadh. Applicants will be able to take the test in either English or Arabic.

http://www.citc.gov.sa/sf . Two forms for Amateur license and a declaration should be filled out, attached with (2) photographs, and a copy of National Identity card or Resident Card (Iqama). These requirements should be sent to the following address:

Amateur radio service is an earth wireless communications service or via satellite where individuals interested in radio technology use  radio devices for the purpose of self training or communication or technical research. 
The license is divided into two categories, The first one allows amateurs to transmit and receive on all frequency bands allowed in the Kingdom. The second one allows amateurs to receive on all frequency bands allowed for this service in the Kingdom as well as on the very high frequency range (VHF).
