The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), represented by the Saudi Network Information Center, conducted a training program in "Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC)", in cooperation with The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

During this 3-day program, and with the participation of 38 trainees representing 14 Saudi government entities, the CITC sought to enhance technical skills relating to domain name systems (DNS), which are used to increase online security and reduce the risk of certain forms of cyber-attack.

This program is part of a series of (DNSSEC) training activities that have so far seen the participation of 140 representatives from both the public and private sectors.
