Saudi Arabia was one of a host of nations to take part in the World Radiocommunication Conference WRC-2019, which commenced today in Sharm El Sheikh and was attended by more than 4,000 people from around the world.

The Kingdom's delegation, which consists of government and private sector representatives and is led by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), presented 12 well-received radiocommunication-related initiatives at the conference.

The World Radiocommunication Conference is held every four years and is focused on reviewing radio regulations and frequency assignment plans, and discussing radiocommunications issues of global interest.
