Today, His Excellency the Governor of Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Alruwais, made an inspection tour at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, as a part of the intensively sustained effort made to ensure ideal preparations for Hajj season 1440-2019.
H.E. was received by General Manager of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Essam bin Foad Nour. Then H.E. started the tour, which covered King Abdulaziz International Airport-KAIA terminals, international terminals, pilgrimage terminals, and Telecom retail stores to ensure the readiness of the telecommunications providers to receive millions of pilgrims upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
The tour also covered the most important preparations and prior precautions for this season, including  increased number of 4G cell tower to 77, and around 37 Telecom retail stores.
H.E. made another stop on his tour that covered Haramain High Speed Railway Station in Alsulaimaniyyah; one of 5 main stations specialized in facilitating pilgrims’ movement from one place to another, and considered to be among the 10 fastest trains in the world. During the tour, H.E. checked the preparations for all the stations, measuring the performance telecom services provided by around 10 4G cell towers. 
H.E. concluded the tour by emphasising CITC’s efforts in providing all communications and information technology services with highest standards of quality and efficiency. H.E. concluded by stressing the keenness of the Kingdom’s leadership to provide all pilgrims with safety and all means of comfort.
