Provisioning of Telecommunication Services Over Non-terrestrial Networks (NTN)

It is a service that allows the licensee to provide telecommunication services over non-terrestrial networks using the technologies specified in Article (4) of the Service Regulations document. For more information, see the Service Regulations document published on the Authority's website.

  • Agreements and contracts with the holder of a permit to provide non-terrestrial network operation services whose service will be provided through his non-terrestrial network
  • Evidence that the provider of capacities for satellite communication stations is registered with the Commission to provide capacities for satellite communications stations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Suggested price plan for subscribers.
  • Provide a brief description of the proposed approach - customer care and after-sales services.
  • Provide a brief description of the proposed approach - monitoring service performance.
  • Provide a brief description of the proposed approach - billing procedures for subscribers.

Terms and Condition

  • Submit the application through the electronic licensing system.

  • Provide information about the entity and the representative of the entity

  • Submitting a valid commercial registry in the Kingdom, and its validity period is not less than three months, and it includes the required permit activity.

  • Provide an introductory profile of the applicant.

  • A brief description of the services and technologies that will be provided in the Kingdom.

  • Provide technical specifications for the networks, systems and devices used to provide the service.

  • Providing regulatory requirements for the service.

  • Submitting a copy of the agreements and contracts with the holder of the permit “Providing Non-Terrestrial Network Operation Services” for which the service will be provided through his non-terrestrial network, including specifying the provider of the capacities of the satellite communication stations for this service.
