Based on the Communications and Information Technology Act issued by Royal Decree No. (M/106) dated 11/02/1443 AH, and its Bylaw, and based on the regulatory tasks assigned to the Commission by its Ordinance, and taking into consideration the needs and regulation of the communications and Information technology markets in the Kingdom, and according to the development of communications markets in the Kingdom and the experiences of other countries; The Commission issues this document with the aim of implementing a clear and transparent mechanism for review procedures for Mergers and Acquisitions in Telecommunications and Information Technology.
