Regulation Overview

The regulations of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “CST”) determine the rules, regulations, rights and obligations related to the interconnection of telecommunications networks.
The concept of interconnection holds great importance for the growth and development of the telecommunications market. It is a key component to enable and enhance market competition. Users of telecommunications services will not be able to communicate with each other without interconnection agreements concluded between service providers. In addition, interconnection allows service providers to provide services in areas where they are not located, which increases the number of options available to each user, and increases competition in favor of users without having to create other networks.
