The Cloud Computing Services Provisioning Regulations Update was issued with the aim of developing the communications and information technology sector, after studying and evaluating developments in the market and in line with data and cybersecurity regulations, in order to achieve the following:

Enhancing competition in the cloud computing market
Raising the quality of cloud computing services provided
Greater empowerment of cloud computing service providers

The regulations included the obligations and rights of each of the cloud computing service providers, individual users, and the government and private sectors
