Approval Of "Interconnection Regulations Document", And "Regulations for Access to Physical Facilities" Documents

The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, with the powers he holds, and pursuant to the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw and the Ordinance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, and pursuant to the puplic consultations received from the concerned parties in response to the announcement of the request for puplic consultations No. (05/1441) dated 28/5/1441H, regarding to "Rules for Access to Physical Facilities" draft document, and "Interconnection Rules" draft document, and in accordance with the work interest requirements,
Hereby decides as follows:
First:
Approval of "Interconnection Regulations" updated document, in accordance with the attached formulation to this decision.
Second:
Approval of "Regulations for Access to Physical Facilities" updated document, in accordance with the attached formulation to this decision
Third:
The two regulations documents referred above shall enter into force from the date of their issuance.
Fourth:
Service providers should provide CITC with a list of interconnection agreements and access to physical facilities agreements concluded and still in effect, and copies of them before approving the two documents referred above, within a period not exceeding (10) days from the date of this decision.
Fifth:
Service providers should amend or delete any terms or provisions contained in the previously concluded agreements that conflict with the two documents, within a period not exceeding (50) days from the date of the entry into force of the two documents, and provide CITC with copies of all agreements concluded after the amendment for approval by CITC.
Sixth:
“Interconnection Regulations” document and “Regulations for Access to Physical Facilities” document replace the two documents issued pursuant to decision No. (333/1437) and dated 7/4/1437 AH.
seventh:
This Decision shall be communicated to concerned parties and publish it on (CITC) website, to comply with it and act accordingly.
