Decision Overview
First:
Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Nomadic Services and their offerings are subject to the regulatory provisions imposed on fixed services.
Second:
The tariff of special offers for (FWA) and nomadic services shall not be less than the lowest applicable tariff of permanent offers for fixed broadband services over optical fibers; According to the type of target sector (business, individuals).
Third:
Nomadic service users are not able to connect or use the service while on the move.
Fourth:
Restricting service activation to only one end user device (sim-lock) via fixed wireless access (FWA) and nomadic services, and service provider obligated to clarify the mechanisms for removing link restriction, when changing the device, or submitting requests for accreditation or notification to CST.
Fifth:
The obligation to prove user’s location coordinates in service contract for the two services referred to in the first clause of this decision; This location is subject of service providers' commitment specified in CST Decision No. (425), dated 2/3/1442H.
Sixth:
Provide subscribers, of the two services referred to in the first clause of this decision, with option to try it for free; Without entailing any obligation on them for a period of no less than (2) working days from service activation date.
seventh:
Comply with all regulatory and technical requirements specified by CST, including but not limited to; Use of a set of Internet (IP) addresses assigned to devices used to provide the service through these offers.
Eighth:
This decision is effective as of 19/8/1442H.
