Decision Overview
First:
Minimum fair use policy limitations for mobile data packages via voice SIM shall be (3 GB/day), after which the speed will be reduced to (512 Kbit/s) as a minimum.
Second:
Minimum fair use policy limitations for mobile data packages via data SIM shall be (6 GB/day), after which the speed will be reduced to (1 Mbit/s) as a minimum.
Third:
That no fair use policy applies to:
1- Fixed Broadband Packages.
2- Voice Telecommunications Services Packages.
Fourth:
Service providers are obligated to lift all fair use restrictions currently applied to all unlimited data packages within a maximum period of (48) hours as of the date of issuance of this decision.
Fifth:
In the event that service providers wish to implement a fair use policy, they are obligated to abide by this decision within a period not exceeding (30) days from the date of its issuance.
