Decision Overview
Pursuant to the Telecommunications and Information Technology Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/106) dated 02/11/1443H, and its Implementing Regulations issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (13) dated 14/05/1444H, and the Statute of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (74) dated 05/03/1422H, as amended, and the Regulations for Designation of Markets & Dominance in the Telecom Sector, and after reviewing the findings of the Market Definition, Designation and Dominance Report (MDDD), and pursuant to the powers vested in it, the Board hereby issues the following Decision:
First:
Digital Data and Communications Centers Company Limited (Center3) is hereby designated as a Dominant Service Provider in the Wholesale Local Access and Physical Infrastructure Market.
Second:
Digital Data and Communications Centers Company Limited (Center3) shall comply with all regulatory obligations applicable to it as a Dominant Service Provider and shall adhere to the regulatory requirements, obligations, and directives issued by the Commission from time to time in this regard.
Third:
This Decision shall be communicated to Digital Data and Communications Centers Company Limited (Center3) and the relevant entities for implementation within three (3) months from the date of its issuance.
