H.R.H Prince Rakan bin Salman Receives CST Governor

H.R.H Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Diriyah, received H.E. Eng. Haytham Alohali, Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), along with senior CST officials, at his office in the governorate today.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the current situation of telecom services in Diriyah, the governorate’s digital coverage needs, and ways to enhance service quality and reliability amid its ongoing expansion.

HRH was also briefed on CST’s mandates and responsibilities, including regulating the telecommunications sector, monitoring service quality, promoting competition, and protecting the rights of beneficiaries.

H.R.H. Prince Rakan bin Salman emphasized the importance of providing telecom services that keep pace with Diriyah’s rapid growth, meet the needs of residents and visitors, and support its development as a world-class cultural and tourism destination.

For his part, Alohali expressed his appreciation to H.R.H. the Governor of Diriyah for his commitment to the telecommunications and technology sector, highlighting the importance of collaboration with relevant stakeholders to improve service quality and enhance the overall user experience.
