With Attendance of More Than (50) Government Entities: Communications Commission Holds Workshop to Improve Government Entities' Service Experience

The Communications and Information Technology Commission hosted, in a virtual workshop today, Wednesday, more than 50 representatives of government entities; to introduce the Commission's tasks and roles in improving government entities' experience in telecommunications, information technology and postal services, as well as to introduce the most notable obligations of service providers towards the government user.

During the workshop, an introductory overview of the Commission's vision and future directions was presented, and the Commission's role in protecting and improving the experience of users from government entities was reviewed. The most notable relevant regulatory documents were highlighted, including the document on regulations for protecting users of telecommunications and information technology services, as well as the document on rules for protecting the rights of postal service beneficiaries. In addition, the Commission's role in the process of studying the needs of users from government entities and finding appropriate solutions for them was clarified, alongside conducting field studies to measure user satisfaction, and working to raise the level of satisfaction with the services provided. The workshop also included a presentation of the most notable regulatory steps taken by the Commission to enhance user protection mechanisms, before the workshop concluded by answering questions and inquiries from attendees.

The workshop comes within the framework of the Communications Commission's work to enhance communication with government entities, introduce its roles regarding user protection, discuss the needs of government entities related to telecommunications, information technology and postal services, and work to address them in accordance with best practices followed in this field; which is reflected in raising the level of satisfaction among government users.
