With Participation from Numerous Entities and Consultancies: Communications Commission to Hold ICT Indicators Forum Next Week

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha, the Communications and Information Technology Commission will hold, on Tuesday corresponding to 29 March 2022, the “ICT Indicators Forum 2022” in its eighth edition, at the main conference hall of the King Abdullah Financial District, in partnership with IDC Saudi Arabia, with the attendance of their Excellencies and a select group of specialists in the telecommunications and information technology sector from inside and outside the Kingdom, with the aim of reviewing the most important indicators of the telecommunications and information technology sector in the Kingdom, and discussing a range of topics related to digital regulation and the sector's future directions.

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, will open this year's annual forum, which will address the future of the sector through 3 dialogue sessions and several specialized presentations on telecommunications and information technology market indicators, which the Commission is responsible for collecting and analyzing through its extensive database. The forum will also host a select group of experts and specialists to discuss a range of topics related to these markets.

This year's edition of the forum will focus on discussing the main trends and shifts in collaborative digital regulation and its role in stimulating the digital economy, as a pivotal element in shaping the future in the Kingdom and the world at large, in addition to discussing leading best practices and future directions for the telecommunications and information technology sector, with its dialogue sessions hosting distinguished attendance of their Excellencies and leaders of major telecommunications and information technology companies in the Kingdom, in addition to international experts and specialists in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
