With Participation of Experts and Specialists: Communications and Information Technology Commission Holds CITC CX DAY Forum to Discuss Developments in Improving User Experience

The Communications and Information Technology Commission held the first edition of the CITC CX DAY forum, coinciding with World User Experience Day, which falls on the fourth of October each year, with the participation and attendance of a number of individuals with technical and scientific expertise in the field of improving user experience, to discuss developments in the concept of user experience in the telecommunications sector.

Through organizing the forum, the Commission aims to raise the culture of user experience in the telecommunications and information technology sector, and to bring together specialists in the field and telecommunications service providers, to present their experience as well as inspiring success stories and showcase successful experiences in this field, contributing to improving and raising the quality of services provided to users.

The forum included a dialogue session addressing a number of themes, most notably the core principles on which service providers rely to deliver distinguished services, the strategies followed to meet customer requirements, in addition to introducing the concept of a comprehensive and distinguished experience. The forum also included discussion sessions on methods of developing user experience, exchanging experiences, transferring knowledge, and success stories in this field.

This forum comes within the framework of the Commission's role in enhancing user protection and improving their experience, and raising their awareness of their most important rights and obligations related to the services provided to them by telecommunications service providers in the Kingdom, in accordance with best practices and global models, as the Commission works, through a number of regulations it has issued, to protect users and preserve their rights.
