With the Participation of Ministers, National and International Experts, “CITC” Holds the “Digital Technology Forum 2022”, starting tomorrow

Under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, CITC will hold the "Digital Technology Forum 2022" under the theme "Enabling Local Technology Products“, from 23 to 24 Oct 2022, which aims to enable local technical products, as well as highlight Blockchain leading developments.

The Forum will be held at CITC headquarter in Riyadh in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Saudi Export Development Authority and the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, and with the participation of a number of Excellencies and prominent national and international experts and specialists, to address the topics of "Enabling Local Technical Products" and "Blockchain Technology" through 9 sessions and presentations introduced by 25 specialized speakers.

The Forum begins its first day with a session on "The Government's role in the development and support of the local technical products" with the participation of some of their Excellences, followed by several presentations on "The Local Technical Product: A Promising Future". The second session also explores “Enabling the Local Technology Products Programs: a Shared Journey”, and will conclude with a presentation on “Future Trends of Technology: Entrepreneurial Opportunities”.

The second day of the Forum will begin with a presentation entitled "Blockchain- Promises vs Reality”, followed by a panel discussion on "Harnessing the Power of Blockchain for Digital Government", also several topics will be discussed such as “How Do Investments Contribute to Blockchain Ecosystem?“, “Unleashing Blockchain Opportunities for Private Sector”, "The Age of the Machine: Empowering Innovation Through Disruptive Technologies”, and “Unlocking Web 3 Potentials”, then it will conclude with the “Hello, Metaverse World!” presentation.

The Forum will feature the launch of various products and services, and the opening of its accompanying exhibition to showcase more than 35 local technical products and Blockchain technology products presented by more than 20 local companies, as well as the announcement of the top 4 winners of CITC’s Co-innovation Award.
