Under the Patronage of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Themed “Leading Software for a Thriving Digital Economy”: Communications, Space and Technology Commission to Hold the Third Edition of the Digital Technology Forum Next October

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha, the Commission will hold the third edition of the “Digital Technology Forum” under the theme “Leading Software for a Thriving Digital Economy” on the 18th of next October in Riyadh, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, with the aim of highlighting the most notable opportunities in the software market and its positive impact on enhancing digital transformation across sectors and enabling digital economy business models.

The Commission explained that the forum, with the participation of a select group of local and international experts and specialists, will focus on a number of key themes addressing enabling the software market, software and its impact on developing the digital economy, and the opportunities and future of software in the Saudi market, and speakers will discuss, through dialogue sessions, software market support programs, enabling software for digital economy business models, in addition to the most notable vital technologies in the field. The Commission also noted that this year's edition will be accompanied by a number of launches of programs, initiatives and competitions, to be announced later via its website and social media accounts.
