With International Experts Attending Tomorrow: Opening of the International Workshop “Internet of Things: Boosting the Economy and Serving Communities”

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, will open tomorrow, Thursday, the international workshop held virtually in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, titled: “Internet of Things: Boosting the Economy and Serving Communities.”

The workshop will be attended by the Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau at the International Telecommunication Union, Mr. Chaesub Lee, along with numerous academics, specialists and international experts in Internet of Things technologies to discuss a range of topics, most notably: the Internet of Things in the Kingdom and its role in achieving Saudi Vision 2030, mechanisms for benefiting from the Internet of Things to enable vital digital communities and achieve sustainable development, alongside highlighting the impact of the Internet of Things on digital transformation.

The Commission renewed its invitation to all interested parties to attend the virtual workshop it is hosting as the regulator of Internet of Things services, noting that attendance is possible via the link:
