Kingdom Offers 2 Million Gigabytes to 2 Million Pilgrims

Stemming from the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Faithful Crown Prince - may God protect them both - to exert every effort to facilitate and ease the performance of Hajj rituals for the guests of God with complete peace of mind and safety, and their keenness - may God support them - on providing various dignified services to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God and working to further develop and enhance them year after year, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Communications and Information Technology Commission announced their initiative to offer a gift to the guests of God comprising (2 million gigabytes for 2 million pilgrims), in partnership with the Saudi Telecom Group, Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily), Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain), Virgin Mobile, and Etihad Jawraa Company (Lebara).

In detail, this gift has been allocated to users of the (Sawa Ziyarah, Al-Zowar, Noor, Hajj and Umrah, Eiman) packages offered by mobile telecommunications companies, where users of these packages will be able to use (1 GB) for (48) hours per user. This initiative aims to facilitate and ease communication between the guests of God and their families, and enable them to access the digital services available under the (Smart Hajj) initiative to improve their experience and enhance the telecommunications services provided to the guests of God.

This comes as an extension of the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Communications and Information Technology Commission, and all mobile telecommunications service providers in the Kingdom to provide the best telecommunications services to the guests of God during this year's Hajj season.
