The Kingdom Announces the Start of Actual Registration of Arabic Domain Names Under the Arabic Domain (.السعودية)

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Communications and Information Technology Commission, officially announces the actual, not trial, launch of registration for Arabic domain names (.السعودية), starting from 17 Jumada al-Akhirah 1431H (31/5/2010), following the completion of all technical and regulatory requirements necessary to open the registration process for Arabic domain names under the Arabic domain (.السعودية), the most notable of which was the preparation, approval, and publication of two regulatory bylaws: the first general and permanent for registration under the Arabic domain (.السعودية), and the other special and temporary to regulate the process of opening registration under the Arabic domain (.السعودية).
