Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission Receives the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs

His Excellency the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Mr. Jan Vapaavuori, accompanied by His Excellency the Finnish Ambassador in Riyadh Mr. Jarno Syrjälä and a team comprising a number of Finnish communications and information technology companies, paid a visit to the Communications and Information Technology Commission, where he was received by His Excellency the Governor of the Commission Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Darrab.

Those present discussed topics of mutual interest in the communications and information technology sector, and exchanged views on ways of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of communications and information technology, and opening the way for companies in both countries for further cooperation. The Finnish delegation praised the efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to spread communications and information technology services in various regions of the Kingdom through the Communications and Information Technology Commission, as well as the successes achieved by the Kingdom in opening its communications and information technology market, which has placed the Kingdom at the forefront of countries pioneering the adoption of the latest technologies and providing the best services to communications network users.
