Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission Receives the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Bahrain
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, received today at the Commission's headquarters in Riyadh His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Mohammed Bubshait, Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Director General, and His Excellency Engineer Adel Mohammed Darwish, Head of the International Relations Department.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Al-Ruwais welcomed His Excellency the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Bahrain and his accompanying delegation, expressing his pleasure at their visit to the Communications and Information Technology Commission.
During the meeting, an introductory audiovisual presentation on the Communications and Information Technology Commission was given, highlighting the communications and information technology sector in the Kingdom and illustrating the development and growth the sector is currently witnessing, followed by an exchange of views between the two parties to look ahead at trends in the communications and information technology sector globally and locally, in a manner that serves both countries. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Bahrain thanked the Commission for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, while commending the efforts made by the Kingdom to spread communications and information technology services in various regions, and the successes achieved by the Kingdom in opening its communications and information technology market, which has made it one of the pioneering countries in adopting the latest technologies in this field.
