The Digital Regulations Academy Held an Advanced Professional Certification for Compliance and Regulatory Officers

The Digital Regulatory Academy (DRA) held a training program titled the "Advanced Professional Certification for Compliance and Regulatory Officers”.

The program aims to raise the competence of compliance officers and regulatory professionals at ICT service providers, and promote CST’s commitment in developing human capabilities and improving professional standards in the regulatory work environment within the communications and technology sector.

The training program featured over 38 trainees from more than 25 entities.

During the two-day program, participants were introduced to the concept of the general framework for regulatory compliance and its importance in the work environment.

It also clarified the role of the regulatory compliance officer in supporting governance and transparency across sectors, in addition to providing a comprehensive overview of the CST’s regulations and executive bylaws to ensure an efficient implementation, and developing mechanisms for evaluating and monitoring compliance according to standards.

The "Advanced Professional Certification for Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Officers" is the first specialized certification offered by the DRA as part of its programs.

This initiative aligns with the CST’s commitment to develop human resources and build capabilities in in digital regulation and public policy domains, therefore supporting the Saudi Vision 2030 goals and build a flourishing digital economy while creating new and innovative regulatory approaches.
