Governor of the Communications Commission Extends Congratulations to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, extended his congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on the occasion of the first anniversary of his assumption of the position of Crown Prince.

The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission said: "Our country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has witnessed a year of giving, work and effort since His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz assumed the position of Crown Prince, this year forming a continuation of his great achievements since he was Deputy Crown Prince. He has been and continues – may God support him – to work hard and give sincerely to change the nation's present and future, and to elevate it globally to compete for the lead. And he has achieved what he sought, as our country now works at the forefront, investing its strengths, to the point that it has today become the talk of the world for its bold decisions, unique achievements, and massive agreements.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Ruwais continued, saying: "If facts could speak, they would tell of a series of major successes achieved by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. The first is the courageous decision to confront the Houthi militias in Yemen through Operation Decisive Storm and to tighten the noose on Iranian attempts to destabilize the region, and the establishment of the Islamic Military Alliance, which comprised (44) countries — this at the military level. At the political level, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve him – organized the Arab Islamic American Summit and coordinated joint Arab action. On the domestic reform front, His Royal Highness established the Kingdom's ambitious Vision (2030), from which the National Transformation Program (2020) emerged, unified the supreme councils into two main councils, and launched a firm anti-corruption campaign. At the economic level, he launched – may God support him – massive projects such as NEOM and Qiddiya, along with other projects launched with great ambition, high boldness, and huge expected returns.

The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission added: "It has been only one year, by the reckoning of time, that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been Crown Prince, and a year before that as Deputy Crown Prince, yet this short period is equivalent to a full decade in terms of the scale of achievements made, which have improved the features of the nation and increased citizens' confidence in the present and future. There is still more to achieve, and more chapters of success to come, as the wheel that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God grant him success – and our nation are driven by continues to turn steadily and with increasing momentum, and the sincere hand that is building the nation's edifices continues, by God's grace, to grow in strength, giving, and professionalism.

Behind all these achievements lies sharp thinking, deep insight, far-reaching vision, and precise foresight of a prosperous future awaiting the nation and its people under this young leadership, whose reins His Royal Highness the Crown Prince holds with firmness, confidence, and sincerity.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Ruwais concluded his remarks by praying to God to protect our wise government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trusted Crown Prince, to increase its glory and empowerment, to preserve our security and stability, and to spare us the harm of enemies and those who bear ill will.
