Signing of a Draft Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Communications and Information Technology Between the Communications and Information Technology Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Toufik Bousaa, President of the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in communications and information technology was signed between the Communications and Information Technology Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The memorandum was signed on the Saudi side by His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Darrab, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, while it was signed on the Algerian side by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Toufik Bousaa, President of the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The memorandum of understanding aims to enhance joint technical cooperation between the two parties in the field of communications and information technology. The memorandum also includes a focus on mutual cooperation between the two countries to develop advanced communications services, modernize communications networks, encourage the use of communications and information technology, activate electronic transactions and knowledge exchange in the field of communications and information technology, and improve the quality of the various services provided to beneficiaries.
