"Safe Internet" Launches Its Third Phase Today from Riyadh
Today, the Communications and Information Technology Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, launched the first activities of the third and final phase of the awareness campaign to protect children from the risks of the internet, "Safe Internet," through interactive lectures and traveling exhibitions inside boys' and girls' schools in Riyadh, targeting more than 3,500 male and female students to educate them on how to deal with the world of the internet and how to guard against its risks.
It is worth noting that the Communications and Information Technology Commission launched the "Safe Internet" campaign in partnership with the Ministry of Education in three phases across the Kingdom, with the aim of raising students' awareness of how to achieve safe internet use, training a number of male and female teachers to become trainers and campaign ambassadors for their colleagues and students on how to achieve safe internet use, and raising awareness among male and female students through traveling exhibitions inside boys' and girls' schools in Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah.
