20250519510The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) organized a session to foster activities within Space sector, held on the sidelines of the Space Debris Conference (SDC2026) in Riyadh, with the participation of a number of relevant entities in the Space sector.
The session is part of CST’s continuous efforts to enhance communication with stakeholders and gather their feedback on the “Space Sector Regulations and Guidelines” document, which remains open for public consultation until 24 March 2026, contributing to the development of a regulatory framework that supports the growth and sustainability of the Space sector in Saudi Arabia, while fostering an attractive investment environment and encouraging research and innovation in Space.
The session featured notable regulations for Space activities, highlighted CST’s key role in regulating and supervising the space sector, and presented its action plan for developing the space sector regulations and guidelines, along with providing an overview of the public consultation document.
CST serves as a strategic partner in SDC, which is part of national efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s role in leading global initiatives focused on space sustainability and reinforce its position as a key hub for international collaboration in addressing space debris challenges.
