DRA Holds a Training Program titled “Understanding Impact Assessments”

The Digital Regulatory Academy (DRA) held a training program titled “Understanding Impact Assessments”, to raise participants’ awareness of evaluations and their effect on planning, implementation, and accountability.

The program also emphasize the importance of evidence-based decision-making, and provide practical experience to understand the core methods, models, and outcomes of impact assessments.

The program was attended by 37 experts in public policy, regulatory law, economics, and engineering from 15 entities representing the digital economy, Space, and innovation ecosystem, including members of the National Regulations Committee and service providers in the fields of Communications, and Technology.

The 4-day program featured many topics that combined theoretical knowledge and practical methods, including evaluation techniques, data collection and analysis, and the use of models like cost-benefit analysis, while emphasizing the application of international best practices adapted to the Saudi context.

The program is part of the DRA's ongoing efforts to develop public policy and digital regulatory expertise and promote broader regulatory awareness.

From its establishment in 2021, the academy delivered several training programs, benefiting over 1500 individuals from both the public and private sectors in over 91 countries.
