Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission Congratulates Leadership on the Issuance of the Saudi Vision 2030 Annual Report and Its Pioneering Achievements

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, CEO of the Saudi Space Agency, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister -may God preserve them both- on the occasion of the successive achievements and escalating prosperity realized by Saudi Vision 2030's targets over the past nine years.

His Excellency explained, on the occasion of the issuance of the Saudi Vision 2030 Annual Report for 2024, that these achievements were realized by the grace of God and then the unlimited and continuous support from the wise leadership -may God support it-, and the guidance, care, follow-up, and attention it dedicates to ensuring the Kingdom's advancement and development on all fronts, affirming that the report's finding of 93% progress in the performance of national programs and strategies confirms the comprehensiveness of the progress the Kingdom has witnessed, achieved in accordance with the Vision's pillars in a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

His Excellency explained that the Saudi Vision 2030 Annual Report included a review of many advanced indicators and record figures that accelerate the Kingdom's pace toward its targets, particularly in the communications, space, and technology sector, where the growth of the communications and technology market reached SAR 180 billion in 2024, noting the Kingdom's ascension in digital transformation indicators, achieving second place in the ICT Development Index issued by the International Telecommunication Union for the second consecutive year, thus continuing its ambitious pace and global leadership to become the largest and fastest-growing market in the region.

His Excellency noted what the report's content reflects of enhancing the Kingdom's standing and continuing its global progress in digital leadership, ranking first in the internet users indicator, and second globally in the corporate digital transformation indicator, and also placing second globally in the technology development and application indicator, highlighting its leadership and empowerment in the digital sector and emerging technologies.

His Excellency concluded his statement with a prayer to the Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince, and to perpetuate the Kingdom's glory and leadership in security, prosperity, and stability, and to perpetuate upon the hands of the wise leadership -may God support it- the achievement of further leaps and ambitions.
