Ministry of Communications and CITC Organize the Eighth Edition of the Seeds for the Future Program in Cooperation with Huawei

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Communications and Information Technology Commission, in cooperation with Huawei, organized the eighth edition of the "Seeds for the Future" program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of more than 50 male and female students from various Saudi universities, aiming to develop digital skills, nurture local technical talent, and prepare future talent for the communications and information technology sector in the Kingdom, and contribute to enhancing students' skills and improving their capabilities and preparing them to keep pace with digital transformation in the Kingdom.

The program's closing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, attended by His Excellency the Assistant Deputy Minister for Future Skills and Digital Literacy, Mohammed bin Abdulmohsen Al-Suhaim, and Advisor for the Information Technology and Emerging Technologies Sector Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Bateli, during which the program's participants and organizers were honored, amid the attendance and participation of a number of officials and staff from the Communications and Information Technology Commission and Huawei.

The program will provide participating students with means to learn about the latest technologies such as 5G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things, and will also allow them to visit exhibitions, workplaces, and stores through virtual tours, and the program is scheduled to continue for eight days, during which students will be trained in live broadcast sessions and specialized courses developed to meet students' knowledge needs.

It is noted that the "Seeds for the Future" program is held for the eighth time in cooperation between the Ministry, the Commission, and Huawei, and has benefited more than 400 Saudi talents since its launch.
