In Keeping with Future Developments and Directions, Digital Regulations Academy Holds Interactive Enrichment Session on "The Role of Participatory Regulation in Digital Economy Growth"

The Digital Regulations Academy held an interactive enrichment session titled "The Role of Participatory Regulation in Digital Economy Growth," presented by competition law and regulatory affairs expert Professor Susan Rap, aiming to develop national talent, and benefit from global best practices and expertise, in addition to keeping pace with future developments and directions, and improving the effectiveness of the regulatory environment in the Kingdom.

The session's work continued over two days with the participation of staff from member entities of the National Regulations Committee and telecom service providers in the Kingdom to transfer best practices and experiences, and share expertise and knowledge in the field of digital regulations.

The session addressed the importance of regulatory cooperation, and also highlighted the role of governance policy in cooperative regulation, in addition to shedding light on the importance of enhancing competition to achieve Saudi Vision 2030's targets of growth and prosperity by investing in the digital economy market.

This session comes as part of a package of programs and sessions offered by the Digital Regulations Academy in partnership with leading institutions and organizations around the world, and in cooperation with distinguished experts and researchers.
