In Recognition of Its Excellence in Digital Transformation.. Communications, Space and Technology Commission Among Top Five Government Entities in the 10th Government Digital Transformation Measurement 2022
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission was ranked among the top five government entities in the Kingdom in the 10th Government Digital Transformation Measurement, achieving a rate of 90.80%, in addition to obtaining first place at the level of the technology, media, and logistics services group, and being classified among the most innovative government entities in this field according to international digital transformation indicators, as part of the Digital Government Forum held in Riyadh on November 16, 2022.
The Commission, represented by His Excellency the Governor Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, and His Excellency Deputy Governor for Planning and Development Engineer Nayef bin Abdulhakim Shashah, received the 10th Government Digital Transformation Measurement award, and the Commission also obtained a certificate of excellence in the category of best use of emerging technologies for its distinguished contribution to enhancing digital transformation, by issuing an SMS sender name management system using Blockchain technology.
The "Qeyas" program is organized by the Digital Government Authority to measure and evaluate digital transformation for government entities, and to contribute to guiding and supporting government entities, and keeping pace with modern technological developments such as artificial intelligence and the internet of things, in a way that enhances innovation and creativity and leadership.
It is noted that the Digital Government Forum comes in its first edition, organized by the Digital Government Authority, to enable all government entities and raise the efficiency of their digital services, and enhance competitiveness in offering innovative digital solutions. The forum also witnessed a number of panel discussions and workshops, attended by a number of ministers, and a select group of experts, specialists, and decision-makers in the field of digital government at the local and international levels.
