In Partnership with the Regulatory Policy Institute (RPI).. Digital Regulations Academy Organizes Intensive Regulatory Training Program at Oxford University

The Digital Regulations Academy, affiliated with the Communications and Information Technology Commission, organized a training program titled "Intensive Regulation Program," in cooperation with the Regulatory Policy Institute (RPI), aiming to develop national talent and benefit from best practices and expertise in the field of regulations, to keep pace with future developments and directions and improve the effectiveness of the regulatory environment in the Kingdom.

The program, which lasted 6 days of field training at Oxford University and the London Legal and Regulatory Court, targeted a select group of Saudi talent in the field of regulations in the specializations of law, economics, policy, engineering, and business across regulated sectors, representing 7 entities from the public and private sectors, with the participation of a number of prominent regulators in the United Kingdom (the energy regulator, the payment systems regulator, the water services regulation authority, the communications regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority, the Health Security Agency, the Competition Commission of Hong Kong, the Regulatory Policy Institute in New Zealand, and Serle Court).

The program focused on risk management in the field of global regulations and highlighting the main topics of regulatory interest at the international level with a focus on digitization, in addition to developing effective regulation traits and developing regulatory dispute resolution skills through practical application, which allows participants to apply their knowledge to hypothetical situations in real and challenging roles related to their daily dealings.

It is worth noting that this training program comes as part of a package of programs offered by the Digital Regulations Academy in cooperation with the Regulatory Policy Institute, aiming to achieve its strategic targets in the sector by elevating communications and information technology services to new horizons and improving the regulatory environment in the Kingdom.
