In an Open Meeting Titled the Commission's Strategic Role in Achieving Vision 2030: Minister of Communications Meets CITC Staff

His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Commission's Board of Directors, met yesterday at the Commission's headquarters with Communications and Information Technology Commission staff in an open meeting titled "The Commission's Strategic Role in Achieving Vision 2030," where the meeting began with a speech by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Commission, welcoming His Excellency the Minister and affirming the importance of such meetings in enhancing communication and integration, and shedding light on the Commission's strategic role in achieving Vision 2030.

Following this, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Chairman of the Commission's Board of Directors, delivered a speech saying, "Working with the spirit of one team built on integration and institutional work is one of the most prominent elements of success and achieving objectives," highlighting the Commission's strategic and pivotal role in achieving the goals of Vision 2030 related to the communications and information technology sector.

The meeting was then opened for comments and questions from Commission staff, addressing a number of topics related to the Commission's tasks and responsibilities, the importance of investing in human capital and developing the work environment, transparency and clarity, in addition to raising some challenges facing the Commission in achieving some of its objectives and proposing many appropriate solutions and suggestions for them.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Commission's Governor affirmed the importance of holding such interactive open meetings, adding that they will continue periodically, God willing.
