CITC Governor Thanks Leadership for Entrusting the Commission with Regulating the Postal Sector

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince -may God preserve them both- for the issuance of the Council of Ministers decision assigning the Communications and Information Technology Commission the regulatory and supervisory responsibilities for the postal sector.

On this occasion, the Commission's Governor said that this decision will have a profound impact on the governance of the postal sector, regulating its market and attracting global investments to it through the role entrusted to the Commission in regulating the postal sector, in a way that ensures justice, equality, and transparency, and proposing the rules, foundations, and conditions for universal service and universal service obligation."

In conclusion of his statement, His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission expressed his thanks to the leadership for the attention it gives to approving everything that would advance the Kingdom's various sectors and agencies, in pursuit of the leadership it aspires to for the nation and service to its citizens.
