CITC Governor Heads the Kingdom's Delegation at the 16th Annual Meeting of the Arab Regulators Network for Telecommunications and Information Technology

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, headed the Kingdom's delegation participating in the 16th annual meeting of the Arab Regulators Network for Telecommunication/ICT (AREGNET), held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, from 23 to 24 Muharram 1440H, attended by the governors and heads of telecommunications and information technology regulatory authorities in Arab countries.

The meeting reviewed numerous topics related to the communications and information technology sector, most notably the mobile communications services quality monitoring project (QoS/QoE), consumer protection, the infrastructure sharing project, the emergency communications project in the Arab region, in addition to a comparative study project on communications prices in the Arab region.

It is noted that the Kingdom's participation in the annual meeting of the Arab Regulators Network for Telecommunication/ICT reflects its keenness to exchange expertise in regulating the communications and information technology market.
