CITC Governor Chairs Consultative Meeting to Discuss Sector Developments and Mechanisms for Improving Subscriber Services

As part of the periodic meetings held by the Communications and Information Technology Commission with communications and information technology service providers, a consultative meeting was held today at the Commission's headquarters, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, and attended by the heads of Saudi Telecom Group, Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily), Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company (Zain), Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company (GO), Integrated Telecom Company, Etihad Virgin Mobile Saudi Company, and Etihad Jawraa Telecommunications and Information Technology Company (Lebara), in addition to a number of officials and specialists at the Commission. The meeting discussed developments in the communications and information technology sector, and topics related to subscriber services and ways to improve them, including emphasizing the need for prompt handling of user complaints and finding appropriate solutions, as well as reviewing the readiness of telecom service providers for the Ramadan and Hajj seasons this year 1438H, to ensure distinguished service for the guests of God at the Grand Mosque, the holy sites, and the Prophet's Mosque.

It is noted that this consultative meeting is held periodically at the Commission's headquarters to discuss developments in the communications and information technology sector, and topics related to developing services provided to users, and following up on their implementation.
