His Excellency the Governor Opens the Round Table Meeting for Ministries and Regulatory Bodies of Communications and Information Technology

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, opened at the Commission's headquarters in Riyadh the round table meeting for ministries and regulatory bodies of communications and information technology, attended by Mr. Paul Rendek, Director of External Relations at the RIPE NCC organization.

The meeting discussed internet resource management and the role of governments in internet protocol number allocation policies, and internet number resources in Arab countries, in addition to the impacts of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the RIPE NCC organization and the internet community, and information sharing to address cyber challenges and risks.
