Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission discusses the importance of meeting the communications and internet needs of all regions, governorates, and villages

Chaired by His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Darrab, and attended by the heads of companies providing communications and information technology services; a consultative meeting bringing together the Commission and service-providing companies was held today, Wednesday corresponding to 5 Rabi' Al-Thani 1435H, at the Commission's building, to discuss a number of topics related to developments and updates in the sector. Among the most prominent of these was emphasizing to companies the need for precision, clarity, and transparency in the promotional offers they launch, and the importance of facilitating procedures for dealing with subscriber complaints and finding appropriate and quick solutions for them.

Eng. Al-Darrab urged service-providing companies to exert more effort to complete the project to improve internal coverage of the Grand Mosque and its surrounding central areas and give it priority, in a manner that ensures the provision of distinguished service to the guests of the Merciful at the Grand Mosque and the holy sites. Best methods for maintaining service quality were also discussed, along with responding to requests to improve wireless network coverage, protecting the infrastructure of these networks, and maintaining equipment, cabinets, and external devices to prevent tampering with them or their misuse.

It is worth noting that this consultative meeting is held periodically at the Commission's headquarters, chaired by the Commission's Governor, and with the participation of the CEOs of companies operating in the market, with the aim of communication and consultation between the Commission and these companies; ensuring the provision of the best services to subscribers.
