Governor of the "Communications Commission" congratulates the leadership on the 90th National Day

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, on behalf of himself and on behalf of Commission staff, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense - may God protect them both - and to the dear Saudi people, on the occasion of the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on this occasion, His Excellency the Governor pointed to the historical value carried by National Day, and its documentation of a great day when the sons of the Kingdom were united ninety years ago, under the banner of unification, and on the meanings of brotherhood and goodness, at the hands of its founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - who exerted strenuous efforts to unify the country's regions and unite its people's word under one banner, and despite all the difficulties and challenges that stood in the way of this lofty goal, the determination and resolve possessed by the founding King and, after him, his righteous sons, were, with God's grace, sufficient to succeed in achieving those aspirations, which were characterized by renewal and expansion to keep pace with the rapid developments around the world, before reaching their peak in our current era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

His Excellency the Governor added that this anniversary represents an opportunity to shed light on the prosperity and progress this nation has achieved in various fields, including the communications and information technology sector, which has received close care and attention from the dear leadership, making the country one of the fastest growing countries in this field, thanks to its huge and highly robust digital infrastructure; which was the result of continuous and ongoing support and development of the sector since laying its first foundations in the era of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him -; which was reflected in the development of the sector's services, and in the Kingdom's ranking among the world's leading and most advanced and prosperous countries in this vital field.

Dr. Al-Tamimi concluded his remarks with a supplication to the Almighty to protect our country from all harm, and to continue to grant it glory, security, and prosperity under the shadow of our wise leadership.
