Digital Regulations Academy holds the second edition of its training programs under the title "Digital Regulation"

The Digital Regulations Academy, affiliated with the Communications and Information Technology Commission, held a training program on "Digital Regulation," in cooperation with international experts, where this course relies mainly on the digital regulation publication of the International Telecommunication Union and the World Bank, with the aim of developing national cadres and benefiting from best practices and expertise to keep pace with future developments and trends, and improving the effectiveness of the regulatory environment in the Kingdom.

The program addressed the main aspects and principles of digital regulation, aiming to enhance participants' understanding of the emerging challenges associated with digital transformation and how to deal with them, such as protecting users and creating a competitive environment for the prosperity of the private sector, including the importance of creating the best methodologies for participatory regulation. This was attended by 68 regulatory specialists from 18 government and private entities.

It is noted that the "Digital Regulation" program comes as part of a package of programs offered by the Digital Regulations Academy in partnership with leading international institutions, and the Commission seeks through them to achieve its strategic objectives in the sector, by elevating communications and information technology services to new horizons, and enabling the Kingdom's transformation into a level-five digital regulator, the highest level according to the International Telecommunication Union's classification.
