Communications, Space and Technology Commission launches the "Future Pioneers" event aimed at raising awareness and developing students' knowledge

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission launched the "Future Pioneers" event, targeting male and female students in primary and middle school, aged 8 to 14 years, through an interactive exhibition offering live educational experiences and various entertainment activities in the field of space, with the aim of raising awareness and developing knowledge of the space sector and related sciences, developing methods of thinking and scientific analysis, and raising the proportion of those interested in space sciences among students.

The Commission explained that the five-day event offers an awareness exhibition that includes 6 main stations built to simplify information in an engaging and enjoyable way suited to students' interests, and develops skills and values through activities and exercises specially designed for this event, namely the Launch to Space station, the Spacesuit station, the Space Food station, the Experience Life at the International Space Station station using VR technology, the Photography in Space station, and the Space Rover station.

The Commission's launch of this event comes to give students the opportunity to learn about space sciences up close, and discover the exhibition's enriching experiences and activities, contributing to discovering new talents and empowering an innovative generation that keeps pace with the Kingdom's aspirations to achieve scientific leadership in the field of space sciences.
