Communications, Space and Technology Commission invites the public to vote for Saudi projects competing for World Summit on the Information Society awards

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission invited the public to vote for Saudi projects competing for the 2023 World Summit on the Information Society Prizes (ITU WSIS Prizes), with the aim of supporting national projects in their journey to compete globally, and encouraging them to continue developing various sectors digitally.

The Commission explained that the Kingdom is competing in the 2023 edition with 31 national projects, in which 19 government and private entities participate, adding that voting is open until January 25 of this month via the International Telecommunication Union's website (https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2023).

It is worth noting that the Kingdom has won 12 awards and 30 certificates of excellence from its participation in the World Summit on the Information Society Prizes since their launch in 2012, held annually by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with the aim of highlighting digital projects contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
