Communications, Space and Technology Commission hosts the national team for the first workshop to prepare for the World Radiocommunication Conference WRC23

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission hosted the national team preparing for the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC23), with the attendance of a number of government and private entities, on March 8, at the Commission's headquarters, to participate in the team's first workshop, aiming to unify the Kingdom's position on the agenda items of the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC23), which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in November of this year.

During the workshop, the topics of the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC23) were discussed, and directions were determined to meet the current and future needs of all spectrum users in the Kingdom, and to achieve integration and cooperation serving the common interests among sectors in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC23) is an international conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), held every four years with the aim of reviewing international radio regulations, including finding new frequency allocations for radiocommunication services, and establishing regulatory procedures and technical standards for sharing them with other radiocommunication services, in addition to other matters within the conference's mandate.
