Communications, Space and Technology Commission holds a training program to develop trainers in the field of space
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission held a "Train the Trainer" course targeting experienced specialists in the field of space, with the aim of developing their expertise in the concepts of designing educational and training content, and enabling a team of highly qualified national trainers according to high international standards specialized in education in the field of space and its sciences.
The Commission explained that the training course focuses on the foundational knowledge related to designing educational and training content, in addition to learning about the techniques necessary to build skills and raise the level of training capabilities through lectures and workshops that include working on a final project to reflect the skills and knowledge gained from the training course, through two parts, with the first part addressing.
The stage of designing educational content, explaining teaching and instructional design methods, introducing the ADDIE model, and describing evaluation strategies to determine the impact of training, while the second part of the course addresses the training and qualification stage, and includes learning about appropriate teaching methods, determining the logistical tasks necessary to create an effective study environment, and applying best practices when choosing informal learning networks and tools to meet the needs of entities or organizations.
This comes as part of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission's endeavors to enhance the Kingdom's position and global leadership in the field of space and its sciences through a number of programs and initiatives aimed at qualifying and developing national capabilities to contribute to shaping a promising future for the space sector in the Kingdom.
