CST Invites the Public to Submit their Feedback on the Document regulating the use of Radio Spectrum for Program Making and Special Events (PMSE) applications

The Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) invited the public to submit their feedback on the regulatory document for “the use of radio spectrum for Program Making and Special Events (PMSE) applications”.

This consultation aims to enhance the optimal use of the radio spectrum, align with international usage, ensure spectrum management with clarity, transparency, and inclusiveness, and improve the quality of radio spectrum applications used in the events held in Saudi Arabia.

The document seeks to regulate PMSE applications, which include the use of wireless devices associated with events, such as microphones, fixed and mobile speakers, cameras, data links, and other related applications.

It also outlines the licensing framework and spectrum allocation for these applications.

CST has invited all relevant entities and stakeholders to provide their feedback on the document, supported by detailed analytical and comparative studies.

The submission deadline will be on June 1, 2025, through CST’s regulatory platform.
