Communications and Information Technology Commission to disconnect unverified SIM cards immediately after 15 Shawwal

The Communications and Information Technology Commission confirmed in a statement today that the deadline granted to all subscribers to verify their numbers by fingerprint in mobile communications services (postpaid, prepaid, data) will expire on the fifteenth of the current month of Shawwal.

The Commission stressed in its statement that service will be disconnected from the SIM cards of subscribers who have not verified their numbers by fingerprint immediately after that date.
