Communications and Information Technology Commission reviews future directions of the communications and information technology sector at the Al-Yamamah Forum

The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated yesterday in the first Al-Yamamah Economic Forum with a working paper titled "Future Directions of the Communications and Information Technology Sector," in which Mr. Sami Al-Fakhri spoke about the economics of the communications and information technology sector's activity, the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision related to the communications and information technology sector by 2030, strategic objectives and indicators, the main investment themes in the communications and information technology sector, performance indicators for communications and information technology services, and the Commission's most important programs and projects for the coming period.

It is worth noting that the first Al-Yamamah Economic Forum, held under the title of diversifying the Saudi economy in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, aims to review the most important challenges facing the Saudi economy, and their impact on economic policy in the Kingdom, in addition to highlighting the importance of economic diversification and the role of the tourism and communications and information technology sectors in achieving this diversification in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
