Communications and Information Technology Commission participates in the Holy Capital Municipality Forum for Quality and Excellence in Municipal Services

The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated yesterday in the Quality and Excellence in Municipal Services Forum, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region.

Engineer Tariq bin Hassan Al-Omari, Director General of Technical Support at the Commission, presented a working paper titled "Communications and Information Technology Services and Their Quality," in which he spoke about communications and information technology services in the Kingdom, and the technical direction in this field, specifically in the Holy Capital, and its management during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons, and the most prominent statistics and figures in this regard.

Al-Omari also explained in his paper the efforts underway to develop the quality of services, unify and combine efforts, automate systems, keep pace with technical developments in this field, and the proposed solutions to the challenges facing the provision of services, and the ongoing cooperation with municipalities to support the development and growth of services.

It is noted that the Holy Capital Municipality Forum for Quality and Excellence in Municipal Services is the first of its kind at the level of municipalities, and is attended by a select group of experts, specialists, and those interested in the field of quality and institutional excellence.
